Rob Thomas has put forth an exquisite blend of music that causes listeners to go from happy to sad, to contemplate life as well as death, and to want to jump up and dance, if only in the privacy of their homes.
As fans continue to await the day that Matchbox Twenty will reunite and produce their next record, Something to Be offers a twist on the music that we have become accustomed to from Rob Thomas. It leaves us with something exciting to look forward to once the individual Matchbox Twenty members come together to collaborate on what will, undoubtedly, be an explosive and exciting new album.
