I like the characters and that's just about where it ends. I took my 7 yr old grandson who really liked the first one. Maybe he just grew out of it but there have been so many other good animated movies that he watches over and over so don't think that's it. I got a couple of light chuckles out of the film but looked at my grandson and he looked totally bored. He kept getting up to get a drink or go to the bathroom. He was really going out and playing in the arcade he was so bored. There was really never one character you could pin down and really get attached to, it just jumped all over the place from one group to the next. It was also so obvious where the water went and who was gonna be the hero at the end of the day. We actually left I guess 15 mins before the movie ended and asked someone else I knew how it ended and I was pretty much on the mark. I just didn't hear the kids really laughing like I do in so many other good movies. Some of the lines that could get laughs were only something an adult would get. Wait for the video and save your money for someones Christmas gift.

I went with my daughter and some friends and we had a great time. No drama and no worries for the evening. What a cute and funny movie. No deep meanings or heavy plots lines just a time to laugh and enjoy the junk food at the snack bar and pretending the calories don't count at the movies. I loved everyone in the movie and they were all perfect for their role. I especially loved the fact that none of them are making the news using their celebrity status for political platforms. I just hate that. The funniest part of the movie was the baby delivery scene that was total hysteria. Sure something like that wouldn't really happen or even be tolerated at a hospital but big deal, it's a movie and make believe. That's what makes things so funny. I'm going again with the few ladies that weren't able to see it yet and I'm looking forward to getting another unserious and refreshing funny couple of hours with the ladies.

Me and My husband took our 6 year old grandson to see this movie. We also wanted to see it. Not too many out there that are worth plunking down nearly a house payment to watch a movie with all the traditional snacks. We loved it from start to finish. And the one thing I really noticed was the movie didn't have to resort to farting, pooping or boogers to get a laugh out of the kids. As was the last garbage we went to about some forest animals trying to save themselves from (man). Absolutely discusting. This movie was simply funny. Even sticking a toothpick on the bee that used it's stinger so it didn't die. Okay, it's a cartoon, why not? It's supposed to be entertaining. The theater was packed with every age and there was constant laughing. Just a relax and enjoy a good laugh kind of movie.
