As an actor, he is quite average. As a man he doesn't even look that good. Like someone else said, he is small boned, and looks like a mouse with big hair.
The movie was pretty boring. Is managed to stay for the first hours, and that was just because I paid for it!!! I don't really care that it was predictable, but it was not well acted either. Flat, boring characters, no humor. Folks, if you want to look at McDreamy, wait for the DVD. Even then it will be a snoozer. Was this review helpful? It is the most violent movie I have seen in a long time, although if you compare the brand of violence to that of Sin City, the "yuck" factor of Rambo's killings is relatively low. It was a clear case of good vs evil. And you wanted good to win. You can't believe how much satisfaction I got from seing Rambo blowing off limbs and cutting heads of the bad dudes. Stallone looks amazingly fit, if you don't look at his face, he could easily pass for someone half his age. Overall, an amazing experience. P.?Posted: 12/24/2007A review of Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story by sunny1872 I don't think it even qualifies as a movie. Just so, so, unbelievably bad! Not funny, and plain ugly. I walked out of the theater 25 minutes into the movie (25 minutes too late, if you ask me). The best thing is that the theater people graciously refunded my $6.50 for the mattinee price. It lacked any plot, whatsoever! Even Dustin Hoffman's adorable lisp could not save it. I left disappointed. I guess Hollywood decided to make something depressing for the children, too. Susan Serandon's part was rather small and she was appropriately cast as an evil witch. The humor was very childish, but funny at the same time. Because I thought the movie was quite horrible, the acting even worse. When Cruise yelled: "This is the quintessential question of our times..." I laughed out loud! This boy is very cruel to his parents, obviously has some sort of a mental disorder, which is all very sad. Does this kind of behavior need to be promoted as something to which we all should aspire? The girl in the movie was actually not bad (the investigator's partner), but Casey Affleck is proving to be a "fine" actor, just like his brother. I agree with previous reviewer: Why does he slur his speech all the time? To the point where it becomes distracting. On the other hand, the movie kept me entertained to a degree. Very disappointed that Hollywood has to resort to this garbage. Jessica Alba was well below average in her acting, much like in many other films. She is way overrated. Not funny. Not funny. Not funny. What they did is repeated the same foullanguage, same concept, same extremely crude references to sex (both straight and gay) for the entire duration of the film! It had a great potential and they totally blew it.
I just had a surgery and have to take pain meds, but, sadly, not even the opiates could make this movie better. :( Just dismayed at how misleading the ads and "critic" reviews are for this. Can anything in this world be better than gay? Stop with it already! Anyway, was expecting much better out of those two normally funny actors.
