The songs at the first half of the CD are really good, but I kind of lost interest on the second half. It got a little boring, but overall it is pretty good. Was this review helpful? When I first listened to this CD, I have to admit that I was freaked out by it ("Tick", "No No No", "Black Tongue"). But I grew to loooove this CD. Yeah Yeah Yeahs have now got more mainstream, which I think is a great change for popular music. Hopefully they will increase in success, because we need better music than the crap that's floating around the music world. Was this review helpful? So I listened and got addicted to the song...when I bought the CD, it was even more awesome. All the songs have a unique sound and I love them all! I recommend this CD to everybody. This (along with Parachutes) is a definate classic. It's pop music, but without the glitz and glamour. Beautiful melodies, beautiful song, a beautiful album overall. I definately recommend this to people who like mellow, easy-going music. Was this review helpful? Chris Martin's voice inspires and made me feel good on a spiritual level. "Yellow" is a simple, yet beautiful love song. "Shiver" made me feel free and alive. I truely love this CD. I also recommend A Rush of Blood to the Head. Was this review helpful? It was delightful and joyful to see, and the quaint French village made me feel cozy and warm. I loved Johnny Depp as an Irish gypsy (he probably is the most convincing actor ever to do British accents), and the rest of the cast truly did an outstanding job. A beautiful film, overall. Johnny Depp's character was totally unconvincing, as was Christina Ricci's, especially with her obviously fake English accent. The story is weak, and the acting isn't what I expected from these actors. John Tuturro probably did the best acting in the film. I only give it two stars because I love Johnny Depp and John Tuturro did some good acting. Was this review helpful? As far as the acting goes, I have to say John Tuturro wins that award. Even though I really looove Johnny Depp, and he did a good job in this film, this wasn't one of his outstanding performances. It's a good rental if you don't have much else to do on a weekend. Was this review helpful? Along with Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp gave a hilarious and great performance. Keira Knightly did an okay job...but I don't think she's an outstanding actress. Johnny Depp definately steals this movie and I recommend this to people of all ages. Exciting, funny, and joyful. Was this review helpful?
