Where is the clever dialogue like this in movies today? It doesn't get any better. I particularly love when Katharine Hepburn pretends to be a female gangster, a member of the Leopard Gang, and pulls the hapless sheriff into her insanty - just as she's done with every other character in the film. Brilliant and hilarious. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 8/29/2008A review of Burn Notice [TV Series] by DoctorWeezer This show roped me in immediately. It would be nice if there were more of this quality out there - interesting story lines, quirky characters, and great dialogue with those dry narrations interlaced in scenes with explosions, chokings, bullets flying, and car chases. Love it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 6/2/2008A review of Atonement by KatrinaB09 I loved this film. Maybe it's because of the time in my life - trying to finish a doctoral degree and the agony of that process - that it spoke to me, but nonetheless the tragedy and hope of the story is so compelling I couldn't help but let it in. I'm going to read the book when I go off on my post-degree vacation in two weeks. I'm looking forward to having the visual images of the film running in my head as I read. Thanks to the amazing actors and the director for their talents in telling this story and showing how flawed we are as human beings. Very memorable. Was this review helpful?
