The acting was so great! This film is funny, sad, cute, and dreamy! Nicole Kidman can sing! The music is fresh but familar! I love come what may and I'll fly away! The story was about a young man who moved to an apartment where all these stage people lived who were just a little kooky. They take him to the Moulin Rouge to meet Satine to bring her their lastest play. It is love at first sight for this young man but Satine mistakes him for a duke! They fall in love while the duke wants Satine he knows in his hearts of hearts she will never love him. The song Roxanne was beautifully done with a different sound! The end of this movie was very sad and I cry everytime when Satine dies and Christian cries this deep hurtful soulful cry that rips your heart out! Excellent job! Was this review helpful? I would of like a little more understanding of what or who these people were suppose to be. Acting was great. On your view of the movie you said that the young yuppies had two children but they did not in the movie! They were trying to have them and Ms. Merill and her friends in the movie made her have a miscarriage! Thanks. Was this review helpful? Renne zewellger couldn't act her way out of a paper bag! Cathering Zeta Jones was Great! My advice go see Moulin Rouge! She this modern day cinderella falling for her prince and then he betrays her! It is almost close to The Nanny but it is a whole 2 hours with MS. Drescher! I can't say enough about how funny this movie is and I love the ending of it. You'll laugh, cry and get swept up in the romance of this movie! Love ya Fran! Was this review helpful? Everytime it comes on I must see it. Fred and Barbara are so wonderful in this thrilling roller coster of a ride! The woman she plays is so evil but the man he plays is so in love with her that he can't see through her. Like the song says when a man loves a woman she can do no wrong! In the end she does him wrong but you know he still loves her and would die for her! He even murder for her! Excellent acting!! I would watch this over and over again! Was this review helpful? It filled your senses with horror! It ask the questions are there others that surround us and it answer that question as well! This has to be Nicole Kidmans finest acting in a while! I would see this movie over and over! I thought the children, all though I have never seen them before did an excellent job! I screamed and cried for the mother and the children who did not know what to do but also for the madness that this mother went through!
