The movie is fantastic. The acting is great. The characters are all really interesting and deep. The story is really amazing. Sort of like a Fargo meets Memento...

There is very little visual effects, a very small cast with 'unlikely' stars and absolutely no boundaries. This is a very simplistic movie in which the story and the characters are the main attraction. In a similar vein to Memento, the Machinist, The Jacket and Saw I, this movie will keep you thinking-talking about it for a while after you've seen it without having to waste millions in special effects and fancy stars. Director Friedkin is simply amazing. The sound is superb and the sceneries are accordingly disturbing.
I recommend this movie to anyone who likes good disturbing movies. A lot of people thought this movie to be horrible... I guess these people should stick to War of the Worlds, Men In Black, Independence day and the crappy likes... Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-2 of 2 Per Page |
