It was worth the wait! This is the best movie based on a book that I have ever seen. The cinematography was beautiful, acting incredible and the end is a haunting twist which matches the mood of the entire film. I highly recomend this film if you love movies. Was this review helpful? It is a movie that is stripped down to the bare essentials. The directing and acting were very well done. This is a movie that has you thinking throughout the film. The ending was powerful. I highly recomend this movie if you are a fan of movies. The story has alot of hard issues to deal with, but that is real and that is life. I took my husband and we were both entertained from start to finish. It is rare to watch a movie so thrilling, yet educating at the same time. I left the theater looking very differently at my engagement ring that I was so proud of. The next day I started researching blood diamonds to ensure that mine was conflict free. This movie made a hugh impact on me, as I am sure it did with most who saw it. Definitely oscar worthy! If Hollywood put out more movies like this I would be at the theater every weekend.
