Granted, I havent seen the original (yet). Some parts were slow. I thought the kid who played Damien was pretty creepy. I didnt like Julia Stiles at all, but i thought Liev Schreiber did a good job, especially at the end. The end has to be my favorite part... from the time he returns home to the end of the movie. I was in shock. Anyways, it was good. I liked it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 3/18/2006A review of House of Wax by sweet_slayer_leesha OhMyGod. This was the SLOWEST, most BORING movie i have ever seen. I fast-forwarded more than half the movie because it was so boring and pointless! There were like 3 good parts. The rest @ed. Paris Hiltons death was the highlight of this movie. Please, dont rent this movie. You wont like it unless you like very very slow-moving movies with tons of pointless and stupid scenes. Sadly, it isnt on anymore. tear I must buy all the DVDs...anyways, my friends think im wierd but its an amazing show. It incorporates real life with fiction. Buffy is a typical teenage girl with typical teenage problems, she just happens to be a vampire slayer as well. I like that theres real-life problems on the show, not just vampire-related problems. Buffy is an awesome character! I lovee Spike. The show is nothingg without him. Anyways, grreat show! Love itt! Was this review helpful? Jodie Foster was a better Clarice though, Anthony Hopkins rocked of course. I hated the book, especially the ending, and Im SO glad the movie didnt end like the book (with Clarice under Lecters control and they live unhappily ever after). Was this review helpful? Hes a freaky, sick little man. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 11/4/2005A review of Edward Scissorhands by sweet_slayer_leesha OMG this movie is so sad! My mom doesnt like watching it cuz it makes her cry, heh. Its a really cute, sad, touching movie. Johnny Depp is awesome. Poor Edward Sicissorhands...misunderstood by everyone( Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 11/4/2005A review of Red Dragon by sweet_slayer_leesha Red Dragon was an okay movie. Anthony Hopkins was amazing, as usual. I didnt really like Edward Norton, though. I dont know if it was just Will Grahams character, or Edward Norton is a horrible actor...but I noticed that Norton seemed sort of robotic. He hardly showed any emotion at all. We was very monotone. At least Jodie Foster showed emotion as Starling (she was amazing in Silence of the Lambs). Anyways, okay movie. Personally I liked Manhunter better, the only reason I like Red Dragon is because Anthony Hopkins played Lecter and he was amazing. If Lecter was in Manhunter, it would be my favorite movie. It was an amazing psychological thriller, it made you think, and the end was like OMG!!! The freaky clown thing on the bicycle gave me nightmares, its so freakyy! Rent it, its awesome! I'm in Grade 10 and stuff like that are just starting to become clear. I'm 15 and I've never drank, smoked, or done drugs. I think that Tracy's mom did a bad job raising her, cuz my mom raised me right and i've never been in any kind of trouble. Was this review helpful? Sign In 5 out of 9 users found this helpful Posted: 9/16/2005A review of The Exorcism of Emily Rose by sweet_slayer_leesha Omg. This movie was freakin' amazing. It was more of a disturbing, chilling movie than a typical horror movie. What happened to poor Emily Rose really disturbed me. The scence where she was in her bed and the demon was sitting on her and stuff just totally freaked me out! And when the priest saw that black figure...FREAKY! I covered my eyes when the lawyer (Laura Linney) was all freaked out and her front door (i think it was the front) opened by itself. During her exorcism I like seriously stopped breathing; I couldn't look away. At the end I felt sad because Emily didn't deserve any of this, and she was so brave. The prosecutor was a real jerk thO! Friday the 13th is scarier than this (and Friday the 13th is NOT scary)!!! You hardly even saw the aliens in this movie, like The Village where you hardly see the "monsters". This movie isn't scary. yeah, its a bit suspenseful, but thats IT. Was this review helpful? Kinda boring, actually. I can't remember a lot, but I do remember not alot happened in this movie:P Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 7/18/2005A review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors by sweet_slayer_leesha I have to say, this movie was ALMOST as good as the first. It was funny, scary, and sad (when Nancy died). I loved it! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-14 of 14 Per Page |
