But a sequel where Kristana Loken doesn't return as the blood &*$#ing vampire is worse. I'm not even interested in seeing this. I'll pass my first oppertunity to see this and go see Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Extinction. Especially since there are going to be more characters from the games and Mila Jokovich's reprising her role as Alice again. Was this review helpful? And it's the best episode with America's favorite yellow family ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 7/3/2007A review of Transformers by Jdog261 I saw this on the 2nd of July as apart of an early screening that was being shown only by participating theaters and when ever you see a good movie during the summer, it's maybe debatable that there are still better movies coming out before the holidays. But when you see Transformers, Micheal Bay (director of Armagedon and Pearl Harbor) and the movie making mastur Steven Spielberg's remake of the 1987 cartoon movie The Transformers: The Movie, there'll be no better movie coming out 'till the holidays. Not even The Simpsons Movie looks this good when teamed up with Family Guy. And both The Simpsons and Family Guy are classic TV franchise. Transformers has an all star cast including Shia LaBlouf (TV's Even Stevens, Holes, I Robot, Constatine) as Sam Whitwicky, Jon Voight (Varsity Blues) as the Secretary of Defense, Hugo Weaving (The Matrix and Lord of the Rings sagas) as the voice of Megatron, John Turturro (Mr. Deeds, Two For the Money) as Agent Simmons, Anthony Anderson (Cody Banks 2: Destination London) as Glen Whitman, Josh Duhamel (Turistas) as Captain Lennox, and Bernie Mac (Head of State, Charles Angels 2) as a used car dealer. I would've casted Loken as a villiness because she was a great one in Terminator 3. She's more like an actress that plays evil charactors. And Michelle Rodregez again landed in the right movie, but the wrong part. I would've casted her as Rayne. 2 out of 4 stars, 3 out of 5, 6 out of 10. That's about all I have to say. Especially when Lyod (who was played by Bruce Almighty's Jim Carrey) was robbed by an old lady in a motorized cart. That's funny. Dumb and Dumberer was plain stupid. Trying to make the school bus when already at school or thinking of marrying your best friends mother's no where near funny. Again they were the dumbest characters, but that was the only part of this prequel that was at least good to know. Was this review helpful? This movie has Jim Carrey who's one of the best actors that's not from the United States and one of Georgia's most famous, Jeff Daniels who's from Athens, GA (city where the University of Georgia's located). And they had the characters that were involved in all the funniest parts including the part where Harry (Daniels) had trouble flushing the toilet because it was broken. Was this review helpful? And Robin William's is so F***ing funny. Like critics said, it's truely two thumbs up. Was this review helpful? I saw the first and second during their first week in the box office. This one on opening night. It was a crowded auditorium, but hey, it's Pirates of the Carribean which means it's Bruckhiemer. And Jerry's had some ups and downs but the Pirates of the Carribean movies are his best and the third one says it all. What an amazing swashbuckling action packed adventure for the whole family. And once again Johnny Depp steals the show. We all know he been pretty much doing that since the releas of Curse of the Black Pearl (Pirates of the Carribean 1 as you might remember). I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5, 9 out of 10, and an A. And believe me, there are only nine other movies I've seen that I give an A to (Star Wars and Lord of the Rings Trilogies). It's just Spidey 3 was able to top both of them. I mean two villians against the web slinging hero. That's very good material. If there's ever a Spider-Man 4 they must have Raimi as the director. Why? The action's great, the chemestry is amazing, and all three are instant classics. So what if the Atlanta Journal Constitution gives this a C+. I give this movie a B+. Was this review helpful? IT FING (@ED. When I first herd about this movie I thought it would be a great video flick because I scored Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare on GBC an 8.5 out of 10. And there was one rule that was created for this movie LEAVE THE DIRECTING TO DIRECTOR TIM BURTON. Yall know the director of Batman, Batman Returns, James and the Giant Peach, Edward Scizorhands, Sleepy Hallow, and Big Fish. THATS WHAT KILLED THIS THE MOST. So its safe to say this. WORST VIDEO GAME MOVIE EVER!!! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Posted: 10/6/2006A review of Silent Hill by Jdog261 There were several great things about the video game horror slash thriller movie Silent Hill. First, it was very disturbing throughout the horror scenes which really made this movie great. Second, it toke its time at letting us get to know the characters and used to seeing the best selling horror video game series on the big screen and got to the car accident just when you thought it would. Third, it featured two stars Radha Mitchell from Man on Fire and Sean Bean from GoldenEye 007, The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring, and Troy who were maybe just right for this movie. Forth, it really showed that Konamis best selling video games were worth being in theaters. And fifth, the line The darkness is coming really filled this movie with suspense. This is the best video game movie Ive ever seen besides Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. If you loved Resident Evil, Final Fantasy Spirits Within, and Resident Evil Apocalypse, then Silent Hill is just what youre looking for. Was this review helpful? What I mean is movie goers want stuff like eight dogs stranded for about six to eight months and thats what Eight Below delivers with drama and some humer like the poker scene and also the weather creating obsticles from time to time. So Starz OnDemand, Starz, Starz Kids and Family, Encore, Encore Drama, Encore Action, Disney Channel, and ABC, you have to put this box offive hit on your comming soon list. Was this review helpful? When I saw this movie premeire onto TBS I thought that it was H-I-L-L-A-R-I-O-U-S. It was a nice way for this Tad Hilgenbrink to start acting in live action movies. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful Posted: 6/5/2006A review of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children by Jdog261 This movie had so many parts to remember. This video game based movie features Kingdom Hearts Steve Burton reprising his role as Cloud Strife and Kim Possibles Christy Carlson Ramono reprising her role as Yuffie as well with a great score by Shiro Hamaguchi and great directing by Tetsuya Nomura Takeshi Nozue. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give the original a 7.9. This one was even better, an 8.2. What a video game movie thrill ride. Was this review helpful? Sign In |
