That's what Bond movies brought for me ,and for so many people.Fantasy, beutiful settings, sophisticated women as well as plots, gadgets, Q, etc,etc...
Just the other day I was watching a documentary about how incredibly hard was for A. Broccoli to do the set for "The Spy who loved me", even needing the help of Stanley Kubric (just to help with the lighting nof the Submarine station set).
Being about the only movie franchise that kept on going decade to decade with those ingredients (that some peolpe call antiquated), tells us that the formula worked.
Bond is not about "force"but about ironic cleverness with shameless attitude helped by sophisticeted gadgets and entourage.Isn't that whhat everybody would like to have?Isn't that franchise what "Bourne "is aspiring to have ,too?
So that said...let "Bourne ,be Bourne" and "Bond ,be Bond.....James Bond...." Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page |
