It failed to create that stomach knotting anticipation feeling, and was riddled with unexpected killings.
This was MUCH better than the first AVP but it needed to be more subtle, more of a horror movie like the original Alien.
It could've easily been longer.
The movie has plenty of action, more than enough, but it only supplies the direct excitement, where as a horror movie should have the anticipation excitement.
Basically, it was a great movie, missing the horror element. Was this review helpful? Resident Evil wasn't too good of a movie either, but it was so much better.
The acting was horrible, the plot line !@$~ed, and the entire movie just seemed very cheap.

It's not about excitement or action, it's about the effect on your mind. A true masterpiece, it doesn't deserve to be bad mouthed by people who just aren't deep enough to get it.
