Yes, it is very violent and gorey, yes there is some nudety and sexual content. But it doesnt over power the movie and make it unpleasurable. VERY well put together. The musical selection was well orchestrated with the combination of some music similar to that of Gladiator and some peices with heavy rock. But it was always at the correct part and the film work was simply amazing. similar to that of sin city...but more realistic. I simply loved this movie. It is a good take on good versus evil and doing what is right...I think it is very nice to see a movie like this..and i would suggest it to any politicians....maybe theyll learn something. I am positive this movie upset all peace-happy, basket-weaving liberals...but its a great movie..if you havent see it...do. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 2 users found this helpful  Over-rated.Posted: 8/28/2006A review of Rent by MissRodeoBluez too bad i cant give this movie no stars. i hate this movie so uncontrollably much that everytime somebody talks about it i throw up in my mouth. my friends rave about it and i finally watched it. yes i am an extremely politic, conservative republican and honestly i hate this movie. a bunch of whores and homosexuals sitting around pisssing and bitching about rent. what a gay movie. haha literaly. but honestly. this movie is not worth any money spent renting it, seeing it in a theater, or God-forbid, buying it. but i will give props because the music, well it was ok. i hate musicals....so i guess that kind of set a bad foundation, but honestly. this movie is terrible. I really liked it. like, it was really sweet and cute, unlike what i expected. I thought it might be a little crude and gross, but it wasnt. the thing about this is there is no terrible language, sex scenes, and a little violence, but you can take anyone of any age to this movie which is what we need nowa days. so you can take your kids with you. although this may not become a cult classic it was still pretty good and i think jack black really made the movie. he was funny and adorable. a wonderful movie. Chacho, when you are a man, sometimes you wear stretchy pants..in your room, its for fun.... Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 13 users found this helpful Not Worth your MoneyPosted: 6/9/2006A review of Taking The Long Way by MissRodeoBluez The Dixie Chicks are scandelous hypocrites. their music, i wont like, their music is pretty good, i was a HUGE fan back before the whole situation in like 2000. this new album is crazy and you should most definitly not buy it. some of the music on it is ok, but they are not worth my money. The Dixie Chicks have bitten the hand that feeds them...that is the country music scene. so may they never sell another album successfully again and i hope that i never have to hear another one of their disapointing voices again. But if you love a classic tale of man vs. vampire, then this is for you. It brings back the original comics of frankinstein, dracula, and the one with the werewolf.
