It was really funny and really adventurous, and romantic, and, you know....it has almost all the crap that movies need. I really enjoyed it. Robert's character as Capn Shakespeare was, well, interesting, but hey, he pulled it off. I really reccomend people to see this. Was this review helpful? Anyways, I like Harry potter movies, though i sometimes think the acting is kind of off, and I dont really like reading the books, because the last three reminded me of the bible, (for its immense amount of pages.) I started watching this about three weeks ago, (or more,) and i abolutely loved it. It was sad, bloody, and dramatic. I like how the show talks about how giving people a second chance at life can be more like Hell than Heaven. Its really sad how these innocent kids were brought back to life as cyborgs to kill at will, and nothing else. I am glad though that the main character, Henrietta, was treated better than most of the girls. A must-see. Was this review helpful? This is one of the funniest, cutest, and weirdest anime i have ever seen!!! It is based on some high school girls in the same class as their crazy english teacher, and they find everyday adventures in the very cities of Japan. Accompaying them on their NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART adventures is their kind P.e teacher, (best friend and rival of the english teacher,) the perverted altruist, (the only male teacher you will see in the school,) and some hand-bitin cats.
My favorite character must very be Osaka, because shes always spacin out and is kind of smart in her own way. She kind of reminds me of myself, when im at school........ Was this review helpful? If your about to watch it, watch how chihiro changes from timid to couragous.
This was one of the greates anime films i have ever seen!! the art was beatifull, and the characters are unforgettable. The setting was very peacefull, and it made me relax, while also being taken away by the action scenes. This is a must see for not only kids, but adults of all ages. By the time your 50, and you watch this movie again, itll be like a nostalgic experience that makes you want to relive those experiences. Was this review helpful? I liked how they all fight, and the fact that there was alot of blood everywhere. I especially liked the little intro-story of O-ren Ishii because it was in an anime form story. My favorite character in this movie, must probably be Go-Go Ubari, because she looks all innocent in her uniform, then she goes out and killls people. in other words, this is a great movie. Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  yeah....Posted: 3/17/2007A review of The Descent by anime_person1 I have to say that the parts where the women were going into that very small, tiny space that they considered to be a little CAVE, and the part where that stupid woman breaks her leg and the bone was sticking WAY out almost gave me claustophobia and fear of falling on my legs or any other places on my body that just might crack. It was scary, but the monsters werent really that freaky. They looked like that monster in PULSE that was in the bathroom listening to the main character as she was quite sure something was in the stall next to her. So, the monsters arent scay, but the small caves, bone breakings, and the scenes where those things were eating like savages were scary. The light and setting made me a little angry because i couldnt see whos killing who. however, this is a good movie. Was this review helpful? The story is good, and their are some heart-breaking times that makes me want to cry, and of course, it is downright FUNNY!! The best part is, their all NINJAS!!! It has alot of action, a good taste of humor, some romance, and a bit of horror, (though, I wasnt scared of the pixelated pirates in the moonlight.)
I have one thing to say to all the adults who have young kids. I read some reviews where the moms and dads say that they should have never watched this movie because of some of the scary scenes that left their child traumatized in this movie and are blaming Disney, the director, or their neighbor for reccomending that they watch Pirates. There is an old saying that I have learned, called, think before you watch, in other words, LOOK AT THE CONTENT RATING FIRST BEFORE WATCHING THE MOVIE, whether it is DISNEY or NOT.
