This album is Manson gone commercial. It sounds nothing like his older, much better, material, including Mechanical Animals, Antichrist Superstar, Holy Wood, Portrait of an American Family, Smells Like Children. Since Twiggy and John 5 both left, is it possible we can still have the old manson???

After the release of the somewhat pop-style side to the wicked Mechanical Animals cd, we have the release of Holy Wood. This album is meant to be listened to track by track as a whole, to truly appreciate this 18 track lp. Although it is an amazing listen to full and full, its not as good as his first Lp Antichrist Superstar, which is as everyone knows his masterpiece. However, this album is a must have for anyone in the dark styles of industrial music, as it reminds me of a nine inch nails album, considering if it werent for Trent Reznor, Manson would not be who he is today and as big as he is.

This album sounds like everything else out on the radio, meaning very bubble-gum and commercial. The first Rejects album is good, but this one is just plainly too commercial and horrible. For fans of everything on the radio, here ya go.
