When will Hollywood and liberals learn that not all southerners are smart ?!!! Only some are stupid, not everyone !!! Was this review helpful? There are snakes on a plane (Wow, what an extremely original and brilliant idea !!!) 2. A man is on board (Samuel L. Jackson) who will kill all the snakes.
Thats it folks. The whole movie in a nutshell. Now, of course, therell be character development and unforeseen plot twists. The whole point, though, is who cares? Was this review helpful? Who wants to see a bunch of baby boomers stuck in a bus with a stupid little brat screaming all the time? Sounds like a nightmare to me, not entertainment. I can find that kind of entertainment shopping in a mall during summmer vacation. I lkie Greg Kinnear, but will not see this stupid film, the previews were so bad. Was this review helpful? Why dont they just leave our President alone? Was this review helpful? Sign In 13 out of 13 users found this helpful I took the kidz to see this flick and wuz glad I did. Its good, wholesome, clean entertainment which the whole fmaily can enjoy. Me and the kidz especially enjoyed the part when the toilet exploded and sent up a huge chocolate-colored gusher. We couldnt stop laughing at this. even to the point where everone else in the theater kept staring at us. Guess they have no sense of humor. Any way, there were many other tender moments in the film like this, far too many to list. Youll have to go see it yourself. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 8 users found this helpful Posted: 4/22/2006A review of Silent Hill by Tex620 Im a big fan of the video game series. My favorite game of the series was Silent Hill 2. The film borrows a lot from this particular game. I was very happy to see Pyramid Face and the groovy, freaked-out slasher nurses from the game in the movie. What I hated to see was how Hollywood messed up the game. The special effects were pretty good, but why on earth did Hollywood have to bring religion into the movie? As far as I can remember, the video game had no such allusions. Its developed by the Japanese, who tend to be non-Christian. Then, why bring Puritans into the mix? I just dont get it. I realize how obsessed we Americans are about our religion. We tend to be a holy, deeply devout, self-righteous bigoted people with an inherent fear of too much secularism beneath our (supposedly) sophisticated, worldly exterior. But, still... Im getting sick of all these Puritan-types appearing in films!!! When are we ever going to move beyond religion?!!! especially in films. where it doesnt belong. Was this review helpful? Sign In 10 out of 20 users found this helpful Posted: 3/17/2006A review of V for Vendetta by Tex620 I thought it was a good film but not a great film. The Matrix was a great film. A great film leaves such a big impression on you that you always remember the first time you ever saw it. A good film entertains you but you forget about it after a while. While this film has flashes of greatness, it just lacked that certain polish needed to indelibly impress its image on your mind.
Oh, and what are all you right-wing nuts doing in a theater anyway. Shouldnt you be in church? I think what really bugs you is the fact that some people make more money than you do. Oh, and by the way, because Hollywood does make so much money (partially thanks to the right-wing nuts who keep attending movie theaters), and consequently helps pay the bills for all these wars we seem to be having lately, it does have the right to be political.
