HAHAHA, Taz, lack of energy, there is no person to blame for that. The album is dedicated to Mary Jane! there is where all the energy went. Its a blow-album light a Joint and then youll be able to enjoy the album a lot better

Coldplay outdid themsleves with this album! The Music is of a beauty that is rarely seen, but I have 1 problem when listening to this album, the lyrics are drowned in sweett, cheap sentimentallity, thats why some songs, like green eyes, is what I call a chic-flick... If you can see this in perspective, you wont be bothered by this level of fake emo, and youre sure to enjoy your purchase as much as I did.

First of all, I am a huge Kid A fan, so I was expecting something of the like. I got what I wanted when I played the first track (packed like...), but the general atmosphere of the disc is more layed back, relaxed and, lets be honest, a bit darker than the other 5 Radiohead records. Nontheless, a beautiful, balanced masterpiece. My number 2 of best albums of all times nr 1 being Kid A.

If you have been a Radiohead fan for a long time, like me, buying this album will feel like striking gold Itll take some time to dig it all up, but its worth it. This is not really the easy listening Radiohead from the bends or OK Computer, it is a totally new band that experiments like crazy. Once you get used to the funny noises, you find yourself in a brave new world. If youre not a Radiohead fan, please buy OK Computer, otherwise you will find yourself very dissapointed, unless you are an industrial fan.

Well, this is the second time I try to write this review, without exceding the 2000 character limit (had 3900 ). Everything in its right place nomen est omen (Latin) The title says it all everything on the CD is where it should be, I bought this masterpiece for as little as 10 euros, and believe me, its like finding a picasso on your doorstep. Kid A this song picks you up, by its ambient softness and brings you to a strange looking place, that youve seen in the booklet, you are on top of one of the mountains from the cover, there is music playing Tha national anthem Chaotic trumpets, distorted guitars and heavy battery, absolute madness, just swim through this weird, but beautiful song, float into the next one How to dissapear completly Softness, unlike TNA. Beauty, and supreme lyrics. This is one of the 9 favorit songs I have from this album. Treefingersthis is a song that makes sure that you can contemplate on what youve just heard, while floating along. A Very nice soundscape of the wacky world youre in. though it sounds dark, bleach and gloomy, cheer up Optimistic just a little reminder that Radiohead makes other kinds of music, too. This song was probably based on OK Computer recordings, or was recorded early on in the Kid A making process. my less favorite track of the CD. In limbo Is one of the most psychotic songs Ive ever heard, but I absolutly LOVE it. But not as much as IDIOTEQUE Just seeing the word makes me dribble and drool. Love it or hate it, samples of chains rambling and motorcycles accelerating(!). Morning Bell This is Thoms moment, the way he uses his voice here, is absolute madness, gives me goose bumbs. Motion picture soundtrack a quite depressing, soft sad song to end the great trip this CD gives you, say goodbye stop sending letters... I will see youin the next life (quotes from the song). Thes ong is over, but there is a silent 2 minutes after a hidden track.

Im not really the No. 1 fan of the Dire straits, but with the bonus live disk, I came very close to becomming one. The Sultans of swing solo knocked me right of my feet, Ive never heard anything like that! Im not going to focus on that one solo, although that alone makes this CD worth buying... The other tracks are very, very good performances aswell. Calling Elvis to start with, this track is played softly, and eases you into the CD, that is more like a journey to middle earth! next comes Walk of Life, talk about a mood lift! If you happen to fly to high after Walk of life, there is Last exit to Brooklyn to get you down on your feet again followed by Romeo and Julliet, the all time classic that, by the stunning performance will leave you sobbing if not bursting in to tears. If you react indifferent to this version of the song youre a psychopath! Hold your tears, for now comes the climax of the disk oh, yes, Sultans... of Swing!!!!! ... There are no words to discribe thebliss I feel, every time I hear this song. Cat got your tongue? No? Brothers in arms will! Another stunning version, 1 slight remark, though, sometimes Knopfler goes over the top. BiA is a very emotional song, true, but ifyou dont pay attention it becomes a cream puff, soaked in tears and hollow emotions, pitty. Money for nothing picks up the thread were SoS left it. Nice round up of an overall superb CD. Buy!

I have very little to say on this album exept that it is one of my best purchase ever!! It's just, that in the official review it says that the CD is hard to rip, well, I havn't had the slightest problem to do so, in fact I'm ripping it this very moment with Windows media player... I have no special patches or anything of the like, just a simple asus cd-rom drive and windows XP.
