Most period dramas are one of three classes, to me. The first is a total lack of knowledge about the period, and the second is a smattering of anachronism, but the third is absolutely comfortable with the era...and that's what this picture has as well as everything else. I usually don't like Tom Cruise, but he was great in this one. I think this would be a great film for those who don't know very much about this period. Was this review helpful?
