After 3 hit albums, he relases his fourth album "Time Well Wasted". The Cd has a healthy mix of foot stomping country tunes as well as emotional songs such as "Rainin' you" and the song which was no doubt written about his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley "She's Everyhting". The Cd also includes collaborations with Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, and the Kung Poa Buckaroos return to add their talents on "Cornography". All in all this is a must by for a long time fan or somebody jus looking for pure country music sung by the best young talent in Nashville today. Was this review helpful? Every song on the album will reach you deep down and make you feel like a better person. This style of music has long been in a slumber but with the help of stellar voices like Michael's, it can easily be seen that the big-band swing is not ready to go quietly in the night. For those of you who ever wondered if another voice like Frank Sinatra would arise from the crowd, look know further than young Buble'. A must have CD for any fan of this style of music and fans of great music in general. Was this review helpful? Strait is crowned the king of country in many eyes and rightfully so. This album is spectacular featuring great up-beat songs such as "If the whole word was a honky tonk" and "High tone Women". The album also includes the hit "You'll be There" and a fantastic duet with the sensational Lee Ann Womack. Every aspect of this album is gold and Strait has never sounded better. A must have for any music fan with an ear for pure golden country. Was this review helpful? 'Mud on the Tires' is only his thrid cd yet he is already going down the road to be remembered as one of the bests. This album has everyhting a country fan needs! Songs like 'Hold me in your arms, the best thing that i had going, Make a mistake with me, Little moments, Celebrity, and of course the wonderful Whiskey Lullaby' all make this album the spectacular one it is. Brad is a great songwriter and singer and he made another great album. Was this review helpful? Sign In 2 out of 2 users found this helpful Being more of a traditional country music fan, I did'nt think I would enjoy Keith Urban's work....I could not have been more wrong. Keith Urban is a spectacular and gifted song writer, guitarist, and singer and each of those talents is shown in this album. Songs such as "Days go by, Better life, God's been good to me, Tonight i want to cry, Your my Better half", and the floor stomping song "live to love another day" help make "Be here" The amazing album it is, It's the love ballat "making memories of us" that is the crown jewel of Keith's latest album. The song written by Rodney Crowel is done flawlessly by Keith and it alone is a reason to purchase the cd. Bottom line, Keith Urban is the new face of nashville and will continue to release hit after hit. For any country music fan looking for a unique sound of country music, look no further than any work done by Keith Urban. Was this review helpful? Trent is probably one of the best new artists to be released since Brad Paisley but he simply is not getting heard enough. This song is filled with great songs like 'Beer Man, Dixie Rose Deluxes, Population 81, All Day long, Here, and so many more'. The music on this album will make you laugh and make you cry, like good country music should. Trent has a unique voice, a natural talent in songwritting, and brings alot to the table for country music. This is a great album by a great young artist and i recomend it to all cuntry music fans. There is not a single track on this album that has a flaw, each song has a special purpose or meaning and Lee Ann has never sounded any better. Songs such as 'There's more where that came from, He oughta know that by know, Happiness, and When you get to me' should be considered pure country gold. In a time when more and more country music is becoming pop influenced, this album is like a breathe of crisp and fresh air. Any true country music fan can not let this amazing work of art pass through their fingers. I can simply not praise Lee Ann, the song writers, producers, musicians, and everyone else involved in this project enough. This Cd is that good and should be bought without a second guess. Lee Ann will go down in history as one of the greats of country music and this album gives her worthy comparison to Dolly Parton and Tammy Whynette. 5 stars is not enough to rate this cd, It’s by far my favorite in my collection. I listened to the cd once when I bought it and ever since it's been at the bottom of my Cd rack. I miss Kenny's traditonal country sound he had back in the 90s and hope he goes back to it. Sorry Kenny, i know you co-wrote or wrote all the songs on the album but i just dont really like this album. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-8 of 8 Per Page |
