All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  OutstandingPosted: 12/20/2005A review of 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours by Anonymous this is Green Days Indie Rock album for Lookout! records. the first time you listen through it, you know when your skimming for a song that sounds good, you dont like it. but, once you sit down and listen to it, you realize that its the same Green Day you know and love! the guitar does sound more like the olde punk three-chord riffs mostly but, the bass is good old Mike Dirnt and the drums (speaking from the viewpoint of a drummer) still had that same Green Day rhythem! you will be listing to this for a long tiem to come and find yourself coming back to it alot!
