But honestly, when I saw the previews for this movie, I thought it looked awful. But it was funnier than i expected. Usually when sequels don't keep the star from the original, it truns out bad, but this is a minor exception. Also, I thought they made a bad move by making this a family film. I much preferd the adult humor in the first. Overall, I would reccomend that you wait until this comes out on DVD.... Was this review helpful? Yeah, call me a , but my heart was bursting through my chest the entire movie. It was much more sadidtic and depressing than saw in my opinion. It also had plenty of gore, so all of you sick bastards out there will like this one. As far as the storyline goes, I thought it was pretty good and it really let you get aquainted with the psycopathic Hewit family. I did find the ending sort of dissapointing though, but ohter than that I would highly reccomend this to any horror fan with a strong stomach. Was this review helpful? But still, this movie definately didnt live up to hype. I expected this movie to be so terrible i would be traumatized, but i was left with a few gross out parts and not much else. I konw a lotta people were bitchin about so much sex in the first half but i think eli roth did that to give out a sense of light-heartedness so the rest if the movie would seem more shocking. The thing that really selled this movie to me was that it felt real, like that could actually happen to anyone. Oh, and the revenge scene at the end kicked ass. I would reccomend this for a rental. I cant remember the last time I saw another action movie and thought holy crap this is awesome. The only thing i didnt like was the ending, which I liked and didnt like at the same time. It was pretty sick though. Its a great move to quote from too. There are so many funny lines in it. If you like offensive and funny shows like Mind of Mencia or Family Guy then you will love this movie! PS if you are jewish then dont see this movie cuz you will get very offended! All the songs kinda sound the same, and Davids voice gets annoying after a while. The only song that really stuck out to me is Ten Thousand Fists which is very addicting and currently my favorite song. I still would reccomend this album if you really like Disturbed, but if you have never heard them, I would buy The Sickness, which I think is their best album Was this review helpful? There were a few jumpy parts, and some of it was really creepy and disturbing, but overall, I was dissapointed. The ending suked and left you wanting more. I was kinda pissed off that they killed off the girl from the first one almost right away, but I liked how the end explains a lot of stuff and sets up a third movie. There was one scene involving a bus that was frickin hilarious. The bottom line is if youre looking for a half decent horror movie thatll deliver up some scares but wont scar you for life , I would reccomend renting it when it comes out on DVD. Hoo-rah! Its not as dark as their other albums, and the songs are more unique and fun to listen to than in past albums. But dont get me wrong, this album is still heavy as hell and korn still kicks ass. I cant really decide if I like the old sound or their new sound better, but I can definately say that Slipknot has matured a lot since their self-titled album. The new songs are less heavy, but are more unique and packed with a lot of intensity and emotion. My personal favorites are the blister exists, duality, welcome, vermillion, before i forget, and the nameless. Although I was a little dissapointed at the softer tracks, you should definately get this album. adios, fellow maggots!!! Was this review helpful? SOAD is so unique and they defy regular rock band expectations. I think the best songs are Dreaming, Kill Rock n Roll, U-fig, Vincinity of Obscenity, and Soilder Side.
