The tryouts are usually more entertaining than the competition. Send in the clowns.
Where is Jeff Gilooly when we need him? (for the ridiculously staged arm-waving girls in front of the stage).
Enough of the scream-singing already.
DVR's were made for this show - skip the commercials and almost every has-been or hip-hop niche guest performer.
Nothing wrong with a big production, but the dancers, smoke, etc. get in the way of the music - OK, sometimes they are a necessary disctraction..
There has to be a better way to select who goes home or wins. I liked PP, but no way does he have a voice anywhere close to Sanchez.
Suggestions:
Let Jimmy Iovine be a judge
Please, no more dancers pretending to be singers as judges.
