Overall it was a pretty enjoyable movie....nothing deep or realistic here, but then romantic comedies are usually neither of these, anyway. I really enjoy John Cusack in all of his movies, and Diane Lane is fairly enjoyable, too. Elizabeth Perkins also does a nice job. The concept of the movie is quite timely right now and the movie has some pretty funny parts although the very end of the movie is pretty predictable and hokey but still, ya gotta have a happy, feel-good ending in this kind of movie! Thats what it is all about!!! Anyway, definitely a good chick-flick and worthy of watching, if not Academy-award worthy. Hope they keep making this genre of movie....its nice escapism without tons of thinking involved and you always leave the theater feeling good.

This was HILARIOUS! Cannot believe someone below referred to this movie as a dud?! I was laughing out loud in several parts, chuckling in most of the others. No, it is not deep or believable but it is so funny, cute, and charming. I just cannot believe anyone could watch this and fail to be entertained in a fun way?!

I recently discovered this show and absolutely adore it! The characters are such a hoot to watch! Sam, Todd, Andrea, Dina, Frank, and Sam's parents.......all have me laughing and smiling with each and every episode and I feel as if I care what happens to them, which is quite rare for me with a TV show. Every episode has me wanting to see what develops this time between Todd and Sam. Since I just discovered the show, I went out and bought both seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. In just one short week I've seen all of season 1 and half of season 2. And that is with me forcing myself not to gobble them all up right away! Now I understand the series has been canceled. I wish that would change and that the show would be saved, that the network (ABC) would see the light, or that another network would see that this show is heads and shoulders above so much of the junk currently on TV. Please revive this terrific show!

I thought this one was great. I so enjoyed all of the big-name stars, and always enjoy a movie with John Cusack in it....an often overlooked actor in my opinion. The movie had great court room drama, action, lots of plot twists to keep up with so I found it to be a satisfying mystery. For those who felt it was made to influence peoples minds about gun control....you should recall the original book involved the tobacco industry but since there were actual cases regarding tobacco industry going on around the time of this movie, the producers decided to change to another theme. I am giving this flick 5 stars.

I thought this was cute and charming and worth renting. As the critic reviewer said, who could NOT like this movie while watching it? Sandra Bullock is entertaining as she gets deeper and deeper into the mess of being mistaken as the fiance of Peter. Her irritating neighbor provides some good humor as does the family of Peter. I liked this one and, while it wont change the world, it will make most people smile and feel good about being in love, and isnt that what people want from a romantic comedy?

I so enjoy watching this movie. Ive rented it probably 3 times --I should just buy it sometime-- and I find it fun to watch each and every time. The fateful experiences in the movie are very entertaining, the comedy is good, and I really, really like both of the leads in this---Cusack and Beckinsale plus Jeremy Pivens as John Cusacks buddy is great. Molly Ivans is also pretty entertaining. For this type of movie---romantic comedy---this is one that moves to the top of the heap, right up there with Sleepless In Seattle. It wont change the world or win big awards, but it will make you feel good about love, destiny, fate, and just have warm fuzzy feelings after seeing it. Definitely consider it worthy of renting!

Heard the buzz about this show and like Timothy Olyphant, so I tuned in for the pilot back in March. WOW! This is my favorite show now and I wouldn't dream of missing an episode. It is wonderful! I am not a fan of Westerns, and I don't consider this one. This is exciting drama, with a bunch of fabulous actors/actresses, full of wonderfully witty, engaging, and sometimes-funny writing, and it keeps you wondering from one week to the next what is going to happen to these characters who are so much more than the standard 2-dimensional ones on most shows. If you haven't tried it yet, try to find it in reruns, as FX typically runs episodes over. Sadly, no new episodes until next season, but, happily, FX has renewed it for a second season.

This album is really incredible. "More than Fine" and "Gone" are ones I just hit "replay" over and over. Of course, the major hits "Dare you to Move" and "Meant to Live" and "This is your life" are ones everyone knows and loves. This is one of those really rare albums that I put in the CD player and NEVER EVER hit "skip" or fast forward over a track. Such a rare thing! I just love all the songs here.
