Heath Ledger did an amazing job in this movie. If you didn't already know he was playing Joker, there is no way you would possibly know it is him (if you're being truthful.) Christian Bale does an equally great job as Bruce Wayne/Batman. I actually like Maggie Gyllenhahl as "Rachael Dawes" better than I did Katie Holmes. Aaron Eckhart was great as Harvey Dent/Two-Face as well as Gary Oldman as "Gordon". I hope and pray that they do the third movie in this new series and Christian Bale comes back to do the movie. I know he is getting expensive, but the money they will make will dwarf the money it will take to get him back. Christopher Nolan deserved an oscar nom as director (but the academy will never give it to him.)
