All reviews by user Date  Helpful Rating 0 out of 0 users found this helpful  Complex musicPosted: 2/16/2009A review of Paper Trail by 12341234269 This album is 'album of the year'.First let me say please 'listen' and not 'hear' what this cat is speaking.This body of work is so complex.Music is far more detailed when written down so please understand what 'papertrail' is about.These are thought out lyrics.The context is the deepest we've possibly ever heard.Please THINK and let this process through your brain prior to you saying I'm crazy.This man has literally put his life all over these beats.REAL life, his very train of thought on why he was buying and carrying guns and the track with JT is unbelievable how he broke down some decisions he had, in real life,faced with.The only other rapper I can think of to express his feelings like TIP was Tupuc.Tupuc like TIP is able to put his heart and passion in a song because these songs are reflections of his life.Most rappers will have a so called deep song maybe like 1 but to me with the exception of soldier rag and porn star each song has some part of real life in it.Regardless of how many albums Luda and lil Wayne sell, TIP is by far the best in the game of course excluding Young Hova even at 40.He's the Jordan of the game and TIP is King James!Let's not even talk about 'flow', multiple all in like 1 song, unbelievable!
