Please don't waste your time listening to this drivel. Was this review helpful? I'm wondering who plays the instruments. Was this review helpful? Pretty horrible pretty much sums this album up. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Do we really need this? Any true Nirvana fan own the music contained on this disc, minus the previously unreleased track. Guess what? I'll just download the unreleased track and save $10 thanks. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 10/20/2005A review of Us And Them by Anonymous Quite a different sound from their debut. They no longer sound like an Alice in Chains clone. This is a massivie improvement and makes me think this is perhaps the best ROCK performance by a band since Stone Temple Pilots. Great vocals and lryics top off an outstanding musical performance. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful These guys can't sing a lick. It 's like listening to bad summer stock players in a bad musical. How about those lyrics.....LAME! These guys should go back to their day jobs at Jiffy Lube. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I don't know what insane asylum Johnny Loftus escaped from but, comparing the latest offering from My Morning Jacket to any of Elton John's releases is pure lunacy. I am a fan of both artists and you can't compare the two. I sure hope Johnny L. doesn't get paid for his work cause Johnny don't know Jack.
I'm not going to tell you how great the songs are or how much I love the band but, here is my offering: Listen and decide for your own damn self. Don't read the crap these so called critics have to offer. If they knew anything they wouldn't be writing for a living. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 10/18/2005A review of Demon Days by Anonymous Look up the word fusion in the dictionary, add music, and multiply by 10. That in a nutshell is what this project is all about. Being a white middle class WASP will be very confusing for you. You're not gonna want to like this but, you're gonna love it. Everybody does and you'll wonder why cause your Mom told you not to. Was this review helpful? Buy a RHCP collection if you want the best of rock, reggae, and rap. 311 is for amateurs. If you want to hang with the big boys listen to the Chili Peppers. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Posted: 9/21/2005A review of Before The Dawn Heals Us by Anonymous Just hearing the "art piece" Car Crash Terror, I wouldn't dream of calling it a song; tune; or even cut,, will make you realize that unless your consumed way to much of a hallucenogenic you will not enjoy this Euro-trash. Great rainy day album. Sit around on the sofa, listen to this, get depressed, book a vacation to the Bahamas.
This guy will be composing for movies within 5 years. Sounds like he's got the talent. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Worth twice the price just for the live material. It's hard to believe that this band was almost completely ignored in the 70's. The live music on this was recorded in 1973 and 1975. Listening to it now, 30 years later, gives me the same goosebumps I got the first time I saw Genesis live. Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful I can't believe TP would give ME permission to cover this classic. Perhaps the song most identified with Mr. Petty, Ms. Etheridge groans it out like a lounge singer devoid on any "kick" whatsoever. It quickly becomes sickening as she drags on and on in an unbearable whine. This is a song that should be left alone. The benchmark TP performance will never be bested. Was this review helpful?
