I have seen it on Broadway and the movie went right along with it. It was so much better made than the Phantom of the Opera which I could not stand in movie form but as far a musical form was great. If you have not seen this movie I would recomend it to you. Make sure to watch the DVD extras also it tell the story of Jonathan Larson who wrote the musical and how it took him 15 years to write.
