The charm of this movie is in its simplicity.The animation style is pretty faithful to that in the books. There is no racy double entndre, and no violence just 82 minutes of absolutely adorable good clean fun. It is so nice to see a childrens movie that is actully made for children. Yet depite its innocence, it remains thouroughly engaging for adults without even trying. I played hookie from work for a few hours and went to see it by myself. To my surprise there were more people in the theatre without children than with. I saw grown-ups giggling with utter delight. I could watch this movie again and again. Was this review helpful?
