When I first heard MCRs Helena I was glued to the song and could not keep me eyes off the TV watching their music video. I thought the band was new because I had never heard of them. So I really didnt quite know what was up or what was in their lyrics. I assumed it was all about death since it was quite obvious in the music video Helena. Boy was I correct, every song reflected upon death and sadness. Well, I ended up buying their CD becuase I was so drawn to their music and their lyrical content. I would def. recommend this CD to all of you, the band is unique and its difficult to explain what it feels like when you listen to their music but I seem to connect to the band and when I hear the music I can picture what he is singing as well as feel that sence of rage and saddness as well as rush. The lead singer, (I belive his name is Gerard) has some touching up to do vocally. Otherwise, I think the image they portray about death and wearing black and make up really makes them diverse and attracts a lot of attention.
