I only saw the videos for Just a Friend and Braid my Hair. I thought they were cute for younger audiences but never paid much attention. When Let Me Love You came out I was amazed by his new look and overwhelmed by how much he had matured vocally. I recently saw him live in Tampa on the Destiny Fulfilled tour and he was hot. I almost forgot who the headliners were. He had the crowd rocking the entire time he was on the stage.
The entire Turning Point blew my mind when I finally listened to the whole cd. There is someting about each and every song that grabs my attention. Of course some songs are better than others (let me love you, how could you, directions, and my favorite Like Me Real Hard). He really matured and I am extremely anxious to see what he does next. He is my new favorite male R&B artist (totally replacing Usher) because of the passion he expresses through his vocals. He doesn't seem like just another singer. He obviously loves what he is doing and does it very well. Big Ups to his mom,Shawntia, and the city of Baltimore for raising a star.
Too bad I'm 4 years older than him or I'd be hunting him down :)
