Political leanings aside this movie had about six jokes that were used over and over, and while funny, got boring after a while. Since when it is un-American to challange authority? So we are either god fearing patriots or america hating hippies? Does hollywood really think we are that stupid? Come on conservative America, you are smarter than this. Why do people on here always make assumptions about others based on how they post. You need to be able to accept others opinions even if you don't like them. This is called maturity. What does the bible say, "thou shalt not judge" or something to that extent. We learned to be skeptical of religion on our own which is why we chose to go see a movie by a man who MAKES FUN OF RELIGION. Look up what you are going to see before you go and see it. All you conservative "I'm a republican so I have to get angry when anyone claims that overpopulating the earth, altering the ecosystem and eating, drinking, and breathing poisons may ultimately not be too good for us" cattle need to relax. It's a MOVIE. Shyamalan's movie plots typically involve the supernatural and have never been believable. But, he is a refreshingly creative mind, and his movies are always new and different. I thought the movie was good, funny, scary all that stuff. Though the suicide scenes were pretty disturbing for me. Unusual villain though that obviously won't work for some. Was this review helpful?
