Not sure why people are offended by this movie, unless they feel they fit the mold of the animated characters. If your kids do not understand the message, explain it to them. This movie is overhyped and so was Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker. Give me Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson any day. The two problems with this film is 1) being about 45 minutes too long 2) dismissing characters to quickly. Much like the Spider-Man 3 mess, too much at one time, this movie has the same problem.
