This movie is booooooring.. Its not that I didnt understand the humor. Its just not funny enough to laugh. The plot is uneventful, and I found myself looking at the clock feeling like I have to finish off the last 15 minutes to feel better about wasting the first hour and 45 min. on it. Well, the movie ended, and I still felt terrible.

There are so many themes -father-son relationships, redemption, revenge,-, yet they all tie together very well to make the movie easy to follow. There were also many heartwrenching moments which were well contrasted to the charming moments. The only thing is that I didnt like the kid very much.

It seemed like a well made film -good cinematography, decent acting- but it wasnt entertaining enough to hold my attention for 2.5 hours. And then the end came -a fizzle out, really, and made me feel like I wasted my time watching.

I thought the plot was very clever, yet easy to understand. The good pace held my attention from start to finish. This is not your usual boring courtroom drama. Watch this movie, its fantastic!

Sex scenes in this movie are something like what youd see on the latin american channel at 2 in the morning. Madonna did a great job acting, but I felt that all the sex just cheapened the plot. (which is intrinsically pretty good) It failed in all the places Basic Instinct succeeded.

Many neat twists in this film, and at the same time, it was very easy to follow. Normally, I dont like court case dramas, but this one seemed special. The story was actually very similar to Body of Evidence, with Willem Dafoe and Madonna, but without all the sex scenes. Whether or not thats a good thing depends on whos watching, I guess..

this is very easily the worst movie I have ever seen. Terrible acting, dialogue, and directing. Im a canadian. And the only thing sad about this movie is seeing how much my country s at making films.

Theres nothing scary about the devil, or this film. Its hilariously entertaining, some of the things the possessed child says and does hahaha quoteLet Jesus F!!K YOU!! Let Jesus F!!K YOUendquote and other such sexual comments were so funny I couldnt be scared. I think the only people who find this movie scary are females who are religious fanatics. Kubricks The Shining and Hitchcocks Psycho were much better classic horror films because they really get into you head and keep you up at night.

This is beautifully filmed, and lighting is perfect in every shot. However, I thought the story was slow and drawn out. It allowed us time to soak in the atmosphere, but I would never want to see it more than once. If you want a great story about the rise and fall of power, as well as more potent themes of family, watch Scarface. Parts of Barry Lyndon reminded me of Kubricks A Clockwork Orange, but again, the moments lacked potency in plot, as they depended on the scenery too much.

the sequels are terrible, but this film is absolutely stunning. Probably one of the most influential films made in the last 10 years.

I think you will love this movie if you loved playing that computer game, Crimson Skies. If you arent a history buff, you wont mind the inconsistency with the technology etc. also, if you arent a physics buff, you wont think 2wice about the possibility of amphibious aircraft not getting their wings ripped off when they plunge into the water.. what I enjoyed the most was the lighting effects, special effects, humour elements, and the momentum that was kept up well to keep me engaged. However, the story was a bit cliche (but then again, the time period begs for it), and frustrating because luck was always a factor in getting the characters out of every little mess.

this movie is like a really bad nightmare caught on film. It was thought-provoking, but not very entertaining, imo

Firstly, the scenery is beautiful. I love how the gorgeous landscapes are the focus in most scenes, rather than being the background. secondly, there is no superfluous dialogue in this film. There is very little speaking, but care was taken such that everything said is important. Therefore, the director obviously respects the need to shut characters up sometimes and just watch them interact with eachother as well as their surroundings. The only thing I did not like was how it ended. It was really drawn out and told me more than I wanted to know.
