I was anticipating this to be much funnier. I was looking forward to it because I think Ed O'Neill is hilarious. It was funny but could have been better. I love the gay couple and Ed and his wife and her son. The daughter's husband's role is a little over the top and so are their kids. I'll keep watching and hoping it gets better. My husband even stayed up to watch it because he loved "AL Bundy". He fell asleep.

This was absolutely histarical. I hardly ever laugh out loud while watching tv, but the whole episode was hilarious. Can't wait for next week. I thougth all of the cast members were great. Courtney's relationship with her son is good too. That makes the show. It's definately an adult comedy.
