If you like the fast-paced filmaking style of Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down then this film will deliver. It's definitley not an Independence Day movie full of outlandish oneliners but a deep, sensitive account with lots of great war scenes. It's closer to a visceral War of the Worlds but unlike the Speilberg remake. It's in-your face action and it really doesn't show us winning the war but making a dent in it. I recommend it.

THOR is just what I expected a comic movie to be and that is alot of fun. See it if you want a true popcorn movie or don't if you can't understand what most people like about it. It was a great and funny comic book film.
