The good thing about the movie is that my son now LOVES to have me read the books to him. He laughed and was sad when George almost went home. I think this movie is definately worth buying when it comes out on DVD. Was entertaining for adults as well as kids! Was this review helpful? There was a few very good stories going on at the same time and my son LOVED the movie. We loved the kooky saber-tooth squirrel too. He laughed so much and was very entertained. There were a few funny parts but otherwise it was very difficult to keep ourselves as well as our 3 and a half-year old entertained. He LOVES to go to the movies and this movie just lacked a lot. There was only one story line and it would have been better if it was more of a short story than a full movie. I would wait to see it at home, rented on the last-chance channel.
