I have been a fan since the show began. I have enjoyed the quirky characters and often heart felt story lines. The show has a wide scope of characters and no matter if they are the well to do or the first generation "americans", family is shown as important and the one thing that will get you through in this world. I think it is an important element of lilfe that is missing in a lot of shows today. I look forward to seeing how a lot of the characters continue to develop.
