Heavy is no Balance though, in a desperate atempt to be accepted by the masses Swollen Members drasticaly changed their style in order to please more people. All they realy did was piss off their core fanbase and gain like 12 new fans. Around track 10 or so it actualy sounds like Swollen gives up because they know that they arent being true to themselves so they drop the act and start performing right. I still like Heavy despite the above mentioned, standout tracks are
Watch This, Botom Line, Burn it down, and Adrenaline
In my opinion, Swollens best album by far is Bad Dreams, on Balance they found their identity, but in Bad Dreams they get real comfortable with that signature style. Back then those dudes were not out there to impress nobody, they just spit with heart, raw and hard! trust me, go pick up Bad Dreams, its deadly, and look out for Black Magic soon to drop, Sept 12, 06. Id buy it twice. Why? Witty lyrics, satire, inteligence, incredible energy, plus the replayability of each song goes on an on. sounds better each spin it takes. Man these guys just get it, only one problem, BT ends the album on such a low and depressing note. Otherwise there are no weak tracks, just head bangers. this is a classic you just ave to hear to believe. 5 out of 5 ! Was this review helpful? Perfect alternative to whiney sounding Simple Plan. Was this review helpful? Real hardcore stuff. Banks Buck and 50 used to be geniuses pre-massacre but theyve fallen off since then. The good songs Poppin then Thangs, My buddy, Stunt 101, Beg fo Mercy, and Gangsta Sht. Yayo was not missed. Was this review helpful? Good G Unit albums are GRoDT, Straight outta Cashville, Hunger 4 More, and Beg 4 Mercy. In conclusion Yayo needs mo time in the slammer Was this review helpful? Anyone can listen to a single and be fooled into thinking they invented a cure for cancer or solved world hunger then forget all about it just a minute later. Dont grosly overexagerate, use your brain. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Posted: 6/13/2006A review of Bad Dreams by nVidiaGeFirce Gotta love this album to death, the sound is so underground, no you dont find mny guys listening to Swollen. Thats whats so cool, knowing you found a hidden tallent that hasnt been destroyedd by pop culture yet. Its original but sounds like they run out of ideas and fresh beats around track no.10 . A real must have for anyone who rides a skateboard. In short educated, edgey, energetic, dark, and GENIOUS Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 1 users found this helpful Posted: 6/13/2006A review of Blood Money [Explicit Version] [Explicit] by nVidiaGeFirce Absolute worst album of all time, I cried, G Unit is over, DO NOT BUY THIS, each song is nearly identical talking about how H and P are gonna kill everything in sight smoke anything and everything, and hook up with all the women at various clubs. They explicitly say that thanks to Curtis Million Dollar Jackson they dont need to work anymore. Mobb Deep truly now has destroyed all their chances to redeem themselves. Other than Snoop Dogg I have never herd an artist fall off this hard in my short lifetime. Go cop any Dre or Em album, DO NOT buy this or Rotten Apple (Bank) when it comes out. 50 and his crew get richer everytime you buy his shizzle which is all wattered dow pop garbage now. I like the invited artists but soooo sick of his ayyyyyyiiieeee as sound fx. This CD is average, Jeezys sound is fresh but he aint realy about anything. Hes new, he shouldn be so cocky. Like I hear guys comparing him to 50 and GRoDT, that is a joke no way...
Good song Soul Survivor
