Best Pic of 2010? This film is a grand slam home run for anyone who: enjoys superb acting; likes a storyline which is not only based on documented facts, but is presented is such a way that it neither insults one's intelligence, nor requires specialized knowledge that only a handful possess; and would like to understand the depths to which a US administration can sink in an attempt to cover its ass. No inbred Hollywood tastemakers tried to dumb this down, or make it glitzy, or introduce the usual garbage that Hollywood seems to insist on to ruin all supposedly factual dramas - it's greatest virtue is that it documents an event that never should have happened in a manner which is really close to the way it DID happen, and, in most cases, lets the chips fall where they may (as one familiar with Washington's ways, if I could find any fault, it would be that the producers were less critical of the administration than they should have been).
Kudos to the producers and directors, and to Naomi Watts, Sean Penn, and the rest of the cast for stellar performances. Easily the best film I've seen this year.
