I love your show and your big, generous heart to help others not so fortunate. Well, I am one of those people and have written to you by e-mail and I have never heard from you.I watched the twelve days of Christmas,I've watched you give away cars and I haven't gotten one thing.Your bride is beautiful as are you. This stuff in my body is in the 4th satge. I have a wheelchair. I can still drive but nothing to drive. My daughter needed a car and I gave her mine because she has children.But I do have to go to the doctor once a month and then go for additional tests if he says so and then go get my medicine. I can't walk the entire grocery store- I need a scooter chair. My daughter needs just as much help as I do. She and her husband have 3 children. The oldest just graduated in Heflin, Alabama from High School. My son-in-law had his first heart attack at 28 years of life. It's a congenital heart disease that runs in his family. He is on oxygen and lots of meds. The government cut their benefits when weston turned 18. Neither my daghter nor her husband can work and they don't make enough to live on. I send what I can but I had to buy my medicines last week and it was $400-over 400.00 My COBRA expired last week and I don't get Medicaire until October.They need a bigger car and money for food and fuel and a nice house to live in.They live in the projects- not a very good one. She watches her children like a hawk.Ellen, is there anything you can do to help either of us?Someone broke into her home Sunday and stole all of her groceries and the girls clothes I just sent them money to buy. I don't have any more to send.My husband and I bought this house and got married in our forty's and so we still have a mortgage to pay .it just seems like the harder we try to help and be good citizens-everything falls down around our ears. I can't get help with my medicines because my husband works, I don't get any government assistance at all. It's not right- I've worked over 40 years...
