I found Alcatraz to be quite interesting. From the beginning to the end as the show unravels it's secrets. Yes, it is far fetched, but not any more far fetched than movies such as: Men in Black, Ironman, Jurrasic Park or the machine on the program The Finder. Yes, it could be hard to follow and I did find myself rewinding from time to time to figure out what i had missed (which usually I had missed part of it)so to keep up with the action in it. I felt the actors played their parts wonderfully. I hope this show gets another season to really win over the audiences.
