I love American Idol, love watching it. I just read Jermaine was disqulaified from the show because of a criminal record. That's sad! I don't know what his crimial record was for, but my question to you is? How does someone turn their lives around when every step of the way that record is there to punch them in the face! I think everyone needs a fair chance to undo the wrong in their lives (exceptions; murder, pedophelia, and or other child related crimes). Somehow these people should be allowed to participate in a life changing event without being prosecuted by the media, and public.
