Posted: 11/30/2005A review of Who Is Mike Jones? [Explicit] by westcoast650
As I listen to southern rap I hear a lot of the same songs and forget about them the minute Im done listening to it, this is what mike jones said to me when he realesed still tippin, an abysmal track with minnimle depth featuring paul wall and slim thug both forgetable rappers with slim thugs part being the only one ofgreatness and the rest of the track is crap. But when mike realeased back then the most catcheast song of the year he gained alot of new fans and a lot more hipe. As mike gained more hipe so did his rapping. Badd is one of the best collaborations of the year. Mike Jones hook and verse is simply a classic. Mike Jones has left his tatoo on the rap world and is definently one to remmember and not forget.

Ludacris is one the most charismic rappers in the game. His own style of rap is unmimicable, it shows flow and origanality at the same time. Ludacris has been known to be crazy with his songs, but has brought a new meaning to crazy when he realesed get back. As this track progressed it seem to lose its charismic character and became another boring track but luda proved me wrong when he realesed number one spot. Luda has always been know as one of the inovaters of rap in music and videos. The red light district is a very entertaining album and its tracks add variety and hipe to the game like his tracks the child of the night and spur of the moments both of these are instint classics, and his innovative large amounts song. The only problem I have with this album is that the hardcore rap is horrible and sounds the same as you hear it, if luda improves on his hardcore rap he can truly be one of the games greatest.

As we see more and more artist trying to make their stand in the music world they all have theirs hits and go on but not the game. The game is a artist with depth in his style of rap. And he has proven with this album that hes here to stay. Most albums in the store shelfs right now only have the singles and no other decent tracks to their barrage but suprisingly to think the game has all his songs filled with flow. The game may lack variety with differnet styles unlike 50 cent. But this album proves that hes the real deal with gangsta rap, nwa has reborn with a blood.

Ja rule is definently a leader for colaborational rap, he proved his hardcore but soft style with singles like between me and you and put it on me. But since then ja hasnt lived up to the Power and skill of his rule 336 album but has put good efforts thus far. This album in porticular is a great blend of hardcore, eastcoast and mainstream rap, but after listening to the album theirs only a couple of songs your going to go back too. But some songs stand out as his greatest hits including new york and never thought. Ja has put a good album but its only par compaired to other east coast rappers on the block.

Jadakiss has brought ruff ryders back with his blend of mainstream and hardcore rap, jada has enough potential to compete with dmx. This is definently one of the best albums from the east coast but it doesnt feel like a classic thiers definently room for improvement
