Please, if you learn nothing else, please, please understand, every fight may end VERY BADLY... However, do not let this stop you, if you are right... But, if you arent, f@k off.
For the lighter side, this album was written at the absolute zenith of Metallicas creativity, the slower songs best demonstrate this, with their trademark anger, frustration and violent aggresive outbursts. This alters between this album to embrace a rather less violent, altogether more depressingly and starker reality. However, this is the album that takes the listener to the brink of the abyss, and some way beyond, embracing the violence that lives at the core of us all.
Puppets is in a way, a retreat from this disturbing place, the denial of the truth of our character, and a willingness to blame drugs alcohol for letting us find it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-1 of 1 Per Page |
