Of course it is a tad ,'one dimensional', comic books are like that !
If you are looking for an historically accurate film based on the events at Thermopylae then you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for damn good entertainment, you will not be disappointed.
The cast is excellently chosen and the computer images are well done, I was impressed and I was also moved by the relationship between Leonidas and his Queen ! "Come back with your shield, or on it" These words were really spoken and as they come down to us over the centuries; we get an idea of just how brave these heroes really were !
