Well, if this is considered music. I swear there are actual musicians who are either cringing at this stuff or rolling in their graves. Was this review helpful? I think Kings of Leon are refreshing compared to all the copycat bands now that sounds just like one another. Was this review helpful? For me it isn't an album that I can listen to over and over again back to back, but when you take the time to appreciate the music you can easily realize the brilliance behind this album. I absolutely loved this album. Was this review helpful? You can realize that after only listening to this CD after the first time. They are what they are, you can classify them as pop, rock, whatever. Any genre you wish to place them in, they are just excellent. Parachutes was an awesome debut, but this one is just ten times more brilliant. Their new album, X & Y, is going to have a hard time living up to this. Was this review helpful? This is an excellent display of the music of the early 90s! There are many fantastic songs on this album, my favorite being "Little Things". Although this has nothing to do with an album review, I will go ahead and say that Gwen Stefani is the luckiest woman alive to be married to Gavin Rossdale! Was this review helpful? Their selection of songs to perform are excellent, and sometimes sad to listen to when you know Kurt's fate. "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" is by far the most eerie, yet brilliant cover song performed on this album. Was this review helpful? It didn't capture their raw sound. Nirvana was a great band, but they had much better albums than Nevermind. Was this review helpful? Which they aren't! Their sound is typical catchy, bubblegum pop. I'm surprised they've made it this far with a wannabe punk look and a pop sound! Was this review helpful? Sign In 1 out of 5 users found this helpful Posted: 7/8/2005A review of Good Charlotte by MissVeggieTales Ok. Good Charlotte are nothing but a bunch of wannabe punk rockers. Sure, they might have a fraction of the look, but c'mon! The sound? They just are a pop band trying to be something they aren't. I had to give one star because there isn't a 'no star' option. They don't even deserve that much. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-10 of 10 Per Page |
