As a writer, I'm always drawn in to fantasy genre. Now, I agree with some of the other reviews that the acting was disappointing (which is why I cannot give it five stars...) and some of the akward moments between the characters just felt too tense and distracting. But overall, the bigger picture of the main story overshadowed the little things. The portrayl could have been alot better...although the lead characters did appear to have chemistry, it seemed like they were holding back a great deal. Regardless, if a second movie is made...New Moon, I'd likely see it. Was this review helpful? Christian Bale is excellent as Batman, but Heath Ledger definetly stole the show as the Joker...he was incredible. If there is a reason I'll buy the dvd, it was his performance. He was just so...believable....so authentic, unafraid to really grasp the complexities of the role. Of course the other actors were very good as well...but Ledger really stood out to me. I wish he could be part of the sequels...:( any other actors who portray the Joker again have their work cut out for them
Anyway, Dark Knight was really great...no disappointments here ^^ Was this review helpful? But this one?? Totally different. I really like the Norton portrayl...and! The effects are amazing...I read some of the Critic reviews and I disagree with the majority; Hulk looks very convincing!
