I will be generous in my review. This movie was very, very, very mildly funny and severely deprave and vulgar. Did Sandler have to do one of old women on the rating board to get PG13? I walked out after 35 minutes and am sorry I stuck to see if it will get better. The very few funny moments simply were not worth all the filth you had to watch to get those. Stay home and read to your children. Was this review helpful? Emile Hirsh is super-duper irritating. And I couldn't help, but chuckle when Susan Serandon said to his character: "I'm so proud to be your mom..." Um... Yeah... How about " I'm so proud to be your grandma?" The point is: save your money. Was this review helpful? Had to wonder, though, does Al Pacino have a restraining order against you? :)
Regarding the movie... Severely lacking in every aspect, whether it is entertainment or suspence. The acting is bad and Al Pacino is looking very tired and disinterested in this film. Not sure it is even good as a DVD movie. Was this review helpful? Sign In 5 out of 10 users found this helpful This is what the message of this movie was. While it had a couple of funny parts, it was mostly pushing feminist agenda: a single female executive getting a baby out of petri dish. Wouldn't recommend it, especially if you have teenage daughters. Was this review helpful? I went in with an expectation of great action and comedy, but found neither one. Jackie Chan was pretty good as a drunk, but that was not enough to make this film interesting or funny. Jet Li, it seems, can't act at all. The Asian women, who were supposed to be fierce and strong, ended up just annoying. Get it on DVD, but only if you've been dumped and are lonely, there is nothing on TV, and no library nearby. Was this review helpful? I was disgusted by Superbad and Good Luck Chuck, but would rather watch those movies all over again instead of Lions for Lambs. Stories were disconnected, acting bad. Most of all, stop using theater as an outlet for your propaganda. Or at least make it entertaining. Don't waste your money! Was this review helpful? Sign In 0 out of 0 users found this helpful Absolutely the worst movie! I am no prude, but constant foul language and gratuitous references to female body parts and penis without anything funny about it got to me. Couldn't even finish watching the whole thing. And couldn't get my money back. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY on this worthless film. Was this review helpful? Bruce Willis is still hot and still got it. The whole film was funny and lighthearted with stunning action. I would recommend it. Was this review helpful? Sign In 1-10 of 10 Per Page |
