This is a very dark and depressing film. It had wonderful costumes. Beautiful scenery. But was lost what the story was about until the very end. I just couldn't believe it got best picture!!! But it drove me crazy!!! Too many flash backs, after the same one over and over, I wish I could fast forward. I think it could have been a really good movie if they would have not have put so many flash backs and centered on the story. You could hear people in the theater make sounds like oh not again.
