Im not a fan of Nicolas Cage, but he was great. Allison Lohman, one of the greatest actresses Ive ever seen. She is awesome. This movie is perfect. Was this review helpful? Synopsis
Little Red goes to bakery to get stuff for sick grandma who is deep in the woods where Cinderellas Moms grave is, who cannot go to the ball, but magically goes anyway, where the prince falls for her, as he is the brother of the prince who loves Rapunzel, while they are bothcheating With Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, and the witch who is in charge of Rapunzle, is the next door neighbor of the baker that curses the them to not have a child because her magical beans were stolen by his father. Only way to break the spell is to go deep into the woods, and retrieve
THE HAIR AS YELLOW AS CORN (Rapunzels Hair) ,THE COW AS WHITE AS MILK (The cow that Jack sold to the baker for the rest of the magical beans), THE CAPE AS RED AS BLOOD (Little Reds Hood), THE SLIPPER AS PURE AS GOLD (Cinderellas shoe). The baker kills the wolf that ate Red and Granny, and Cinderella throws the last magic bean deep in the woods, which makes the giants wife want to kill Jack for killing her husband.

One of the best family films since MATILDA. It s nice that they are showing African Amerians in a positive way. Especially a girl who is 11. Keke Palmer did an awesome job for only her second movie. Put in Mara Wilson and Danny DeVito, add some comedy, and love, with just a pinch of scare, put it in the VCR or DVD player at full speed for 1hr and 33min. and you get the best family film, MATILDA. This was a Musical Junk.This is filled with wack songs that easily get stuck in your head. All these people are just Rock Star wannabees. I never heard of it before, and I never saw the previews, but my fiends said that we were going for the heck of it. I was hooked instantly. They can all sing. And I CRIED!!!!!!!! The Last half hour was so sad, i loved it. After the movie, all I could think about was RENT this and RENT that, and I cant wait to see it again. My dad got me the soundtrack for my birthday, which made me relly want to see it again. Finally, I bought it the first day it came out on DVD, and I was happy.
